Hi! I'm Lindsey (often stylized as LNDZ). Welcome to my site! I'm extremely new to webdesign so please be patient with me while I get this thing up and running.

Why?

I have always loved the internet and social media for as long as I can remember. It's been a safe haven. A place of connection. In the last decade or so, it's started to take on another form. A form I've come to detest. You can barely get information about anything anymore without being bombarded with ads. The algorithms are designed to keep you on the apps to sell your attention to advertisers. Your college friend had a baby? Your granny's birthday? NOPE. Advertisements. I don't want to engage with stuff because it makes me feel bad and then have to keep scrolling to try to feel good again.

Why a website though? Isn't that more work?

I mean. Yes. But on my own website, I get to showcase things that are important to me. It's a chance for me to learn something completely new and showcase my creativity. I also want you, as my guest, to feel welcome and rested here.

Why it look like this though?

I've always been nostalgic and inspired by my own childhood experiences. This is the way the internet used to look like when I was growing up and I just find it charming.

What can I expect?

A little bit of everything. I'll be sharing my thoughts, favorite things I've read or watched,photos. Whatever I think of!
